Sæcularis

This page is a stub, and is little more than a helpful tool to find some posts. I’ll expand it over time as I put more resources here.

Augustine’s concept of secularization I’ve written about in a series of posts summarizing a book by R. Markus.

The genealogy of secularism I have written about here, referring to Jan Bremmer and Wolfhart Pannenberg. Pannenberg is influenced by Gogarten; an excerpt about Gogarten can be found here (that is an old post, and needs to be revised and updated).

The classical secularization paradigm, as outlined by Steve Bruce, I’ve summarized here.

I’ve written posts regarding Peter Berger as well as Charles Taylor on disenchantment.

Finally, here is Berlinerblau, stating the political arrangements that secularism is, that it is not atheism.
