Tomorrow, my mother and a buyer close on my childhood home – the only place I have ever called “home”. She does not know how much it breaks my heart. It may be that the place was always something of a ghost to me, but it was the ghost of something beautiful.
Farewell.
You might not know it now, but it’s better that why. I closed when my old home was sold.

It’s such a strange feeling when your childhood home gets sold. I’d give you a great big hug, my friend.

Sad! A beautiful home and environs, Gregory. Difficult to grieve such a loss. Thanks for posting the photo.
